The main event of Saturday's Serie A programme will be the clash between Inter Milan and Lazio Roma. It will be a special match especially for the home manager Inzaghi, who was in charge of Lazio only a few months ago. 

Basic information, news and team form

After Inzaghi's departure to Inter, Lazio had to look for a new manager and eventually chose Maurizio Sarri. The former Chelsea or Juventus coach was out of work for almost a year, but there is no need to doubt his qualities. His spell at Lazio has been alternating great moments with bad ones. The first category certainly includes the derby win against AS Roma (3:2), while the disappointments include defeat at AC Milan (0:2) and especially the 0:3 thrashing at Bologna, which happened just before the national break. Overall, Lazio has 11 points and is sixth in the table. 

Inter ended Juventus' nine-season dominance in the Italian league last season, but paid the price for their success by weakening their squad, which was left by Lukaku, Hakimi and Politano. Changes have not escaped the managerial position as well, where Antonio Conte has been replaced by Simone Inzaghi. The younger brother of the legendary striker Fillipo has not started badly at all in Milan: in seven rounds his team has not lost even once, holds the third position in the table and has the best attack in the league. Even without Lukaku, Inter's offense is hard to resist, and Bologna, for example, could be a good example of that, having suffered a 1-6 debacle at the San Siro in the 4th round. However, the Nerazzurri would need to transfer their productivity to the Champions League as well, as they have not scored a goal in two games in the elite competition and have only one point. 

 

 

Betdoin's view of the match 

Lazio have not kept a clean sheet in a single league game this season. It would be a big surprise if Sarri's team could do it against the best attack in the competition. However, Betdoin's algorithm believes that the home side will also manage to trouble their opponents in the match.
