After the successful qualifying round of the Champions League, Sparta will face its first trip in the new league season. On Saturday from 19:00 they will present themselves on the grounds of Liberec, which, unlike the ACS, did not succeed in the opening round and is still waiting for the first points of the season.

Last year, Liberec narrowly missed out on European football. They have also lost a number of key players over the summer: gone are Mosquera, Sadílek, Pešek or Karafiát. As usual, Slovan entered the new season with a significantly changed line-up. However, the main goal of July was to manage the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Rapid Vienna, which Sparta did thanks to a huge home win. On Tuesday evening, ACS will play the opening match of the third qualifying round at home against Monaco. Due to the demanding program, changes in the line-up can be expected in Liberec. For example, the left-back Höjer limped from the match with Rapid and his start would be a surprise.
