The main match of Saturday's Fortuna Liga schedule will be the Moravian derby between Olomouc and Slovácko. While Sigma have lost their form after a good start to the season, Slovácko continue to stay within striking distance of the top three. 

Basic information, news and team form

While in the opening weeks of the season Olomouc were scoring goals for fun while picking up valuable wins, from about mid-September their form gradually started to leave them. In the last five rounds, Sigma did not manage to score in four cases and their only win came against Karviná, which they beat 2-0 at home. On the other hand, they lost to Bohemians and Liberec by the same scoreline, drew 0:0 against relegation-threatened Teplice and also lost 0:1 to Slavia in Wednesday's match. It's still a solid seventh place in the table, but the gap to the title group is growing rapidly. 

Slovácko, on the other hand, are having a great season. Martin Svedik's team was already a pleasant surprise last year, but this season they are even better. In 12 matches, FCS has only lost to Plzeň and Slavia, picked up nine wins and is in a great 4th place, just a point behind second-placed Sparta. Moreover, Slovácko is currently on a streak of five wins in a row, which started in mid-September at home against Zlín. Last weekend against Bohemians, it looked like a goalless draw for a long time, but in the third minute of the additional time, substitute Cicilia scored to give Slovácko another three points.

Olomouc and Slovácko are on an interesting streak: their last three H2H matches have always ended 0:0. Another result like this on Saturday night would be a surprise, but Betdoin's algorithm expects an underdog duel nonetheless. Both teams will be well prepared for each other and it could easily happen that the game will be dominated mainly by the defenses.

Olomouc will miss the suspended centre-back Jemelka, while Chvátal, Vaněček and Yunis have injury problems. Slovácko should have a full squad at their disposal. Unlike Sigma, they did not have a mid-week match to play, so they will have the advantage of fresh legs.
