Slavia vs Slovácko: Preview, Free tip & Prediction
11.09.2021 20:00
Slavia and Slovácko will close the seventh round of the Czech Fortuna League on Sunday evening. The defending champions are expected to record another win, but a tough opponent is coming to Prague.
Basic information, news and team form
Slavia has had a rather rough August, dropping out of the Champions League and Europa League and only drawing 3:3 in Karviná in their last match before the international break. Otherwise, however, they confirm their role as the main favourite for the title, with a 4-1-0 record and a postponed match against Olomouc in hand. However, dropping out from the main European cups has left a mark on the club's budget and at the end of the transfer window, Sima and Zima left Eden in to join foreign suitors.
Slovácko had an exceptional season last year and so far it looks like they plan to continue in a similar style this year. The team from Uherské Hradiště has only lost to Plzeň in the last six rounds, but otherwise has a solid 13 points and is once again in the upper parts of the table. Slovácko has won 9 of these 13 points at home and 4 points from three attempts on the road. However, they had difficult opponents, as besides Plzeň they also played against Liberec and Jablonec. The trip to Eden will complete this difficult draw.
Betdoin's view of the match
Will Slavia confirm the role of favourite at home? Similar to the bookmakers, Betdoin's algorithm also considers SKS a likely winner, but the system has identified bets on Slovácko as valuable. Good odds can be found on at least one goal scored by the visitors, which is currently priced around 1.80. The home side has several important absences in their defence and Slovácko can usually trouble strong opponents.
Absentees and estimated line-ups
The home team will miss injured Kolář, Kúdela or Plavšič, while Bořil, Masopust and Olayinka are uncertain, but they could be ready. Slovácko will have to do without the suspended Divisek.
Slavia - estimated line-up:
Mandous - Bah, Ousou, Kacharaba, Dorley - Holeš, Samek - Masopust, Stanciu, Schranz - Krmenčík
Slovácko - estimated line-up:
Nguyen - Hofmann, Daníček, Kadlec - Reinberk, Kohút, Sadílek, Havlík - Petržela, Jurečka, Holzer
