Sparta recorded an honorable loss against Lyon in the Europa League, but now the Reds have to switch back to the domestic competition. On Sunday evening, Mladá Boleslav, who achieved their biggest win of the season in the last round, will come to Letná.

Sparta have quickly recovered from a poor September and have been performing well in recent weeks. In the league, they currently have three wins in a row, with the most valuable one coming just before the international break, when they beat Slavia 1-0 in the derby. Last weekend, Sparta smoothly beat Pardubice 4:2 and played a goal-rich match on Thursday as well, when Lyon came to Letná in the Europa League. The home team entered the match fantastically and led 2:0 after 20 minutes of play, but the favoured opponent gradually picked up the pace and turned the match around to the final 4:3 win. However, Pavel Vrba's team at least confirmed that they have great form up front: in the last five competitive matches, Sparta have scored 14 goals.
Mladá Boleslav also often play goal-rich matches, but it doesn't always work out in their favour. For example, the 3:5 home thrashing against Slovácko at the end of September must still give their defence nightmares. Boleslav stretched its winless streak to four games with that game and speculation began about coach Jarolim's position, but his team managed the last two rounds as expected. Firstly, FKML recorded a narrow 1-0 victory at Karviná, then in the last round they blasted Bohemians 4-1 at home, although they were losing from the 61st minute. The win moved Boleslav up to eighth place in the table.
