Sunday's clash between Reims and PSG has one main theme: Lionel Messi. The Argentine star is expected to make his debut for his new employer in the fourth round of Ligue 1. 

Basic information, news and team form

After three rounds, Reims boasts a provisional unbeaten run: the traditional club started the season with a series of draws against Nice, Montpellier and Metz. Especially in the last round at Metz, Reims came close to a win, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Another point would be a huge success against PSG, but whatever the outcome of the match, the home team will probably witness Lionel Messi's debut. That's one of the reasons why the game is completely sold out. 

PSG have been busy in recent days with the possible departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, but on the pitch the season has so far been uneventful. The Parisians have three wins with a total score of 10:5, winning against Brest 4:2 last time out. Even without their attacking stars, PSG have been excellent going forward. They have been struggling defensively though, unable to keep a single clean sheet in the opening three games. However with Messi in the line-up, PSG are capable of outshooting anyone.

The goal odds are set correctly given the high expectations for PSG's attack, but Betdoin's algorithm managed to find interesting value in the corner kick market. PSG usually create a lot of corners due to their strong attack, which the arrival of Neymar and Messi certainly won't hurt. Apart from the injured Zeneli, Reims should have the whole squad available, with only the fitness of Donis, Doumbia and Sierhuis uncertain. PSG will miss the injured Ramos, Icardi and Dagba, while Kimpembe also has minor health problems. The main topic however is the return of Messi and Neymar, who should be match ready for the first time this season. Whether they will be in the starting lineup is uncertain, but at least one of them could start.
