The draw of the 13th round of Serie A pits two teams from the top of the table against each other. Napoli, unbeaten so far, will play Inter in Milan on Sunday evening.

After 12 rounds, Inter Milan hold a solid 3rd place in the table, but the gap to the front is slowly growing. Being seven points behind Napoli and AC Milan, the room for error is shrinking. If the Nerazzurri want to get back into the title fight, a win in Sunday's showpiece would help a lot. Inter were in a similar situation in the last round, when they faced AC in the city derby. A dramatic match, in which the visiting Inter had two penalties, ended in a 1-1 draw, which suited the home side better. The Nerazzurri did not take this chance to close the gap to the top of the table, but they have a second attempt against Napoli. 

But nothing easy awaits them. Napoli, under Luciano Spalletti, have been performing well beyond expectations so far and haven't lost once in 12 league games. For a long time they even held a 100% record, until the first two setbacks came in recent weeks in the form of draws with AS Roma (0-0) and Verona (1-1). The latter result was very surprising and Napoli must have thought about it a lot during the national break. Otherwise, SSC can be more than satisfied with the way the season is going so far. Napoli's defence in particular has been fantastic, conceding only 4 league goals.

The top teams are usually expected to have a shootout, but in this case, according to Betdoin's algorithm, it is worth betting on a cautious duel. Napoli clearly have the best defence in the league and although Inter's attack is formidable, scoring will not be an easy task.
